- CERTIFIED PICTURE FRAMER
Through the PPFA CERTIFIED PICTURE FRAMER (CPF? Program, you can test
your knowledge in such areas as mounting, glazing, frame cutting,
preservation methods and the proper materials to be used in framing
projects ?and earn the framer's mark of excellence, the CPF designation.
More than 3,000 individuals worldwide have achieved CPF status since the
program's inception in 1986.
Any
picture framer who has a minimum of one year of hands-on experience in
retail or wholesale picture framing may apply for certification.
Interested candidates must register at least three weeks in advance of the
test. Cost of the exam is as follows:

$270 plus GST for members
-
$395 plus GST
for non-members
-
$180 plus GST for retakes
In developing the PPFA CERTIFIED
PICTURE FRAMER Program, PPFA sought the expertise of industry leaders
representing a wide range of educational backgrounds and proven talents in
the picture framing industry. the objectives of the PPFA Certification
program include:
