PPFA Vision Statement: "Be the leading resource for picture framing success"
The Professional Picture Framers Association, or PPFA, is the international trade association for the art and framing industry. The PPFA was first incorporated in America in 1971, and now supports a membership of more than 3,000 custom picture framers, art galleries, manufacturers and distributors. The association provides its members with the most advanced educational workshops, business programs and technical and marketing support designed to help cut costs and boost bottom-line profits. PPFA is under the PMA umbrella of industry associations, which is a non-profit organisation. PPFA supports all other industry guilds & associations, and has a focus direction of offering educational resources and networking for the framing industry as a whole.
PPFA Code of Ethics A member of Professional Picture Framers Association shall: Maintain a dignity of manner and behaviour in the presentation of services and in all other forms of professional conduct. Observe the highest standards of honesty in all transactions; avoiding the use of false, confusing, inaccurate or misleading terms, description or claims. Produce a product of a quality equal or superior to the samples displayed. Recognize the responsibility to properly care for all art in one’s custody. Contribute to the advancement of profession supporting industry standards and continuing education. Recognize the authority of the Association in all matters relating to the interpretation of this Code of Ethics.
